Our Story

The Cardinal Cafe opened in 2021 inside Cardinal Bicycle with the goal to create a community-focused gathering spot when you can grab a fresh, healthy, and delicious meal to fuel an active lifestyle. We serve rice bowls, salads, sandwiches, burritos, soup, pizza, smoothies, and more! We have gluten-free options, vegetarian options, and we can make menu items plant-based/vegan upon request.

We source as many local ingredients as possible, and everything we serve is fresh and made-to-order. We partner with our sister businesses Crystal Spring Grocery, Yard Bull Meats, and Field Day Juice Club to bring you the best options available. Field Day Juice Club makes their juice on-site in the Cardinal Cafe.

We brew Red Rooster Coffee, which is roasted locally by our friends in Floyd, VA. They even roast a special blend just for The Cardinal Cafe.
