Saturday Morning Road Ride

9:30am Saturday
Cardinal Bicycle Grandin

This no-drop intermediate ride will explore new routes every Saturday morning. We will ride between 25 to 40+ miles.

For spring, this ride will be focused on preparing riders for the Wilderness Road Ride on May 24 or the Tour de Floyd on May 17. Rides will vary in lenght each week to prepare riders for the event. To help new riders join throughout the season, some weeks will be shorter and some will be longer.

Ride Requirements:

  1. You must have the route (see below). The group will have a ride leader and will stay together, but navigation is ultimately your responsibility. Wrong turns happen and we want everyone to make it back safely and on time. Join the Cardinal Bicycle Ride with GPS page for free navigation on your phone. Cardinal Bicycle sells mounts for your phone to help you follow the route, or you can get a cycling computer.

  2. You must wear a helmet have a tail light for safety.

  3. You must bring at least 2 bottles of water and some snacks. It is essential to eat on long rides. We recommend using hydration mix instead of water, especially in hot weather.

Ride Schedule:

Group ride cancellations and changes due to weather will be sent via text.
